I did not grow up with much to work with. Back in 2015 there was barely a tech scene around me in Nigeria — no mentors, no fast internet, no fancy laptop. Just a Nokia Java phone, later a Symbian one, and a stubborn fascination with how the web worked. I built my first sites on wapka.mobi and modded Java apps like 2go, teaching myself line by line, error by error, because I could not afford to learn any other way.

That hunger turned into blogging — entertainment, music, and the thing that changed my life: SEO. I became obsessed with how Google decides what the whole world gets to see, and I got good enough to teach it. In 2019 I launched SEO Beast 2.0 and handed people everything I had cracked about backlinks and ranking — the white hat and the black hat — so others trying to make it could make it too. For the first time, the skill I taught myself in the dark was feeding me.

Through all of it I was coding and taking on client work — grinding on Fiverr as far back as 2017, shipping website after website until the work outgrew the platform. Every project made me sharper and hungrier. So I bet on myself, went deeper into real engineering, and refused to stay small.

Today, that same kid with a Java phone runs OdiDevs — engineering fintech platforms, AI and Telegram automations, and premium web and mobile products for clients across Nigeria, the UK, Poland, the USA and beyond. I have never forgotten what it felt like to start with nothing, and it is exactly why I pour everything into the work. I know how far curiosity and self-belief can carry a person — because they carried me from a wapka site on a Java phone to building software that companies around the world now depend on.
